RCMP Scam
Has anyone seen this page before?
You could have been minding your own business on Facebook, or checking the weather report and then a screen comes up telling you that you've been caught doing something questionable.
The page you have seen may not look exactly like this, but they all act the same.
You cannot minimize, close it shrink it, scan it. So you think "I'll turn off my computer and turn it back on, that has to fix it." When you turn it back on maybe for a moment everything looks normal, then it's back.
This piece of malware is annoying to say the least. Don't panic, bring your computer in to LM Computers we will fix your computer, and make like it never happened.
While your machine is here we will make sure this scam does not have any friends staying behind on your machine.
